I am a person who became concerned with the go-green eco movement as a young child.
While raising my own children I began to notice we were creating a throw away generation and not teaching them about the go-green eco movement. Everything seemed to be disposable, don’t fix it or maintain things in order to make them last, just throw it away and buy a new one, very much against conservation and the go-green eco movement. The old expression “They don’t make things like they used to” is not the problem, we as a society are the problem. We no longer teach our children to conserve,or to follow the go-green eco movement, instead with the coming of new technologies, peer pressure, guilt over leaving our children to go off to work (creating the latch key children)and advertising we are instilling spending as the morality to live by instead of conservation which is what the go-green eco movement is all about.
The greatest hope for future generations lie in are own children’s hands by teaching them about the go-green eco movement. School Systems teach our children sex education, why not start teaching them about the go-green eco movement. Teach them the importance of conservation, implementation of going green and the fundamentals and beliefs of the go-green eco movement. The teaching in schools of the go-green eco movement and how to conserve should start at the pre-school level and work it’s way up. They have the DARE program why not GO-Green Eco Movement to help improve and save their planet and lives for generations to come.
The go-green eco movement is about conservation. It is better to spend a little more money for a quality item, that will last for years (which fits in with the go-green eco movement), than to go out and spend to replace the same item within a few months. I have also noticed that many people who want to join the go-green eco movement are on spending sprees for anything that says green. This is not the intention of the go-green eco movement. I believe the go-green eco movement is a gradual process of going green. Which will have the greatest impact on our environment.
